Racing simulators — sim racing, not arcade
Our racing rig is not a console with a plastic wheel. It is a professional setup: Fanatec wheel with force feedback, separate load-cell pedals for throttle, brake and clutch, a proper bucket seat. The same kind of gear sim racers run at home, except here you walk in, sit down and drive.
Games are the serious ones. Assetto Corsa Competizione for GT3 cars, F1 23 with the current season's championship, Gran Turismo, EA WRC for rally. If you like a hard car, we will set you up on Nürburgring or Spa with actual physics — not arcade arcade-feel. Beginners start on GT, where the car forgives a missed apex. Pick the track yourself.
17 EUR per hour, 9 EUR for half an hour. If it's your first time and you're not sure you want a full hour — half is enough to turn a few laps and figure out if you want more. You will. Two people can come together; the rig is one seat, so you swap between stints.
Our specials list has a two-rig package: two friends, two rigs, one hour together for 18 EUR. You race each other on the same track in real time. Good gift for a birthday, good way to settle a sibling argument.
For adults, sim racing scratches the same itch arcades did back in the day, only deeper. Younger folks tend to pair a turn here with PS5 or a VR session. For grown-ups we recommend it as the Daugavpils-friendly version of a hobby that costs several thousand euros to build at home — try it, learn, no investment needed.
Booking, hours and address are the same as the rest of the club. Lačpleša iela 39b, Tuesday through Sunday, Friday and Saturday until midnight. Before your session we get you seated, walk through the controls, run warm-up laps and help with settings. If you already race seriously, we step out of the way.
